Northern beaches of Menorca to discover by motorcycle

Discovering the north coast of Menorca on a rental motorcycle offers us spectacular landscapes and truly virgin coves that are worth visiting. In the north of Menorca there are beautiful small coves and some charming small coarse sand beaches
Cala Pilar is one of the most difficult virgin beaches in Menorca to access. It is accessed from the Ferreries-Es Mercadal road by a path that ends a few kilometers from the beach and where you have to leave the bike to continue on foot for an hour. The hike is worth it. Cala Pilar offers warm golden sand and incredibly transparent water, not for nothing is it part of the Marine Reserve of the North of Menorca.
Algaiarens beach is also worth a visit. It is an exception on the north coast with a wide sandbank of fine white sand very different from the reddish and rocky color of this coastline, a heavenly place with a low influx of visitors.
Cala Pregonda stands out for the reddish color of its sand, which gives it a special charm. Before reaching this paradise, we will pass through the cove of Binimel·là, a pebble beach and completely virgin transparent waters separated by about 10 minutes on foot from Cala Pregonda.
In the heart of Cap de Cavalleria, in the beautiful landscape of this extreme north of Menorca, there are various coves of rock and sand, very welcoming and bathed by crystal clear waters full of life.
And finally, two easily accessible proposals. On the one hand Cala Morell, north of Ciutadella, a beautiful sandy cove between cliffs that is reached from the road by a series of stairs carved in stone. And at the other end, Cala Tirant, near Fornells, another cove sheltered from the North of Menorca with golden sand that is accessed by wooden stairs from the nearby urbanization.
