By signing this, the driver / s acknowledge having read and accepted the conditions detailed in this contract necessary for driving the vehicle.

You agree to respect the current traffic regulations at all times and take responsibility for any penalties that may arise from misuse or non-compliance with the regulations and for the duration of this contract. The own damages generated by the bad or reckless driving as well as driving under the influence of Alcohol or Drugs are NOT included , they exempt the Company from any responsibility.

The clauses of the rental contract can only be modified by written agreement signed by both parties. The company reserves the right to cancel reservations based on prior notice to the client.

In the event that any of the general conditions, set out in this contract, is breached, Ride On may terminate this contract at any time, demanding the return of the vehicle, and the owner hereby commits to deliver the vehicle as soon as possible to our base and not the amount paid will be reimbursed.

ARTICLE 1 – RENTAL REQUIREMENTS

1.1. For all displacement it will be essential to have Motorcycle Driving Experience (MINIMUM ONE YEAR). If the employee perceives that the customer does not drive the bike will not proceed to the delivery of the same and no payment will be refunded online.

• Be over 21 years old for all models except 400cc and 700cc, which requires a minimum of 25 years.
• Valid passport or ID.

1.2. Photos, photocopies or complaints and / or any other document other than the original card will not be accepted .

1.3. In the event that the Client does not meet the aforementioned conditions, the vehicle will not be delivered or the amount paid will be returned.

ARTICLE 2 – COLLECTION AND RETURN OF THE MOTORCYCLE

2.1. The Client receives the vehicle in perfect working order, including the two tires and accessories (keys, helmet and padlock). You should check it together with the person in charge of delivering the motorcycle; acknowledging being informed of the type of fuel that the vehicle requires; and committing to return said vehicle in the same conditions in which it is received, the client has one hour after the date of hire to detect any anomaly of the motorcycle.

The Client agrees to return the vehicle to Ride On at the scheduled date and time and at the place agreed in the rental agreement. The return of the Vehicle CANNOT BE in a different place from the one initially agreed.

2.2. If, for reasons beyond our Company’s control, the Client does not pick up the motorcycle at the time established in the reservation or contract, we will not extend the contract or pay the hours or days not consumed.

2.3. The delivery of the vehicle will be made at the time required by the Client in the online reservation form. In case the Client wants to collect before the requested time, he must pay the corresponding amount.

2.5. Customers who select as a delivery and return point at a location outside our offices will be picked up by a private transfer and transferred to our headquarters for the delivery of the motorcycle, the collection and subsequent return of Customers at these locations will be subject to a timeframe. Ride On warns that due to traffic difficulties it can sometimes arrive before or after the agreed time.

ARTICLE 3 – FINANCIAL REQUIREMENTS

3.1. In addition to the rental price. Motorcycle rental requires a deposit or bond. It may vary depending on the office and level of coverage contracted. All our rentals include basic insurance, the deposits to be paid in rentals with basic insurance are:

3.2. In no case can the deposit be used for an extension of the rent. Payment of the deposit must be made by credit / debit card or in cash. This amount does not cover the total of the alleged damages, assuming that the damages to the vehicle exceed the amount of the deposit must be paid by the Client. When the Client returns the vehicle together with the keys and the Company terminates the contract, the deposit will be returned. In the event that it has been paid by card and the rental period exceeds 28 days, it cannot be returned by credit card. The costs of the bank transfer for its return will be borne by the Client.

ARTICLE 4 – INCIDENTS AND THEFT

4.1. In the event of an accident or theft, you must contact the Police within 24 hours after the incident. Likewise, the pertinent complaint of the abduction must be made. You must notify the subtraction to Ride On by phone 971 576 958.

In the event of an accident with another vehicle, the Client must present Ride On within 24 hours after the incident, the friendly part, completed by both parties. In case of theft, you must present the complaint and the vehicle keys. If the client has not taken out all risk insurance and the vehicle does not appear before the end of the contract date, he must pay 80% of the value of the vehicle. If the Client has contracted a coverage and, in the event of theft, does not present the keys of the stolen vehicle with the complaint to the Lessee within 24hs after the theft, they must pay 80% of the value of the vehicle, price P.V.P.

4.3. The Client expressly acknowledges and accepts what is stated in the previous paragraph and waives any compensation if necessary.

4.4. The Driver / Client is responsible for the vehicle and for the damages caused during the rental unless the Leasing Company obtains the acceptance of the total or partial responsibility by a third party.

4.5. In the event of an accident, the vehicle will not be replaced, the contract will be terminated and the money will not be returned for the remaining days of the rental.

4.6. The damages that the client may generate will be subject to valuation of the company and subsequent budget by the Lessor. This implies that the deposit / bond cannot be returned until the value of the repair is certified with a provisional budget.

ARTICLE 5 – FUEL

5.1. No fee includes fuel. Ride On will deliver the motorcycle to the Rider with a full tank. The Client must return the motorcycle with a full tank. In case of shortage of gasoline, you will be charged, as a refueling service by time and displacement that must be performed by the Company to complete the deposit, the following rates:

5.2.5.2. All our motorbikes use petrol 95 without lead. If there was some error in the refueling and like consequence the motorbike suffered some flaw the repair will run entirely by part of the Customer. If there is an error in refueling and as a consequence the motorcycle suffers any damage, the repair will be borne entirely by the Client. The price for putting diesel by mistake would be €80 plus €20 for gasoline and €50 for roadside assistance

ARTICLE 6 – MAINTENANCE

6.1. The Client cannot repair the vehicle without prior written authorization from the company.

6.2. Vehicle maintenance and lubrication are included in our rates. (Punctures and / or tire changes resulting from vehicle misuse are not included.)

6.3. The mechanical wear due to the reasonable and normal use of the vehicle is assumed by Ride On .

6.4. It is the Customer’s obligation to stop the Vehicle when any anomaly in the Vehicle’s operation is detected. The Client must contact Ride On at 971 576 958 or the roadside assistance company.

6.5. In case of damage to the vehicle, as well as its accessories and complements and / or theft thereof , the corresponding charge will be made to the Client for the following concepts and amounts that will be available to the client in each office:

• Plastics: knocks, rubs, dents or deformations.
• Crystals / mirrors: pitting, slits, losses, subtraction.
• Lights: broken housings.
• Tires: flat tires.
• Cabin: upholstery, dashboard, belts. Accessories: loss, subtraction. Subject to expertise by the company Empresarg SL

In either case, the keys must be paid to the Lessor. The cost of the key of the motorcycle will depend on the rented model. The price for lost and/or broken keys is uncoded keys 35€ per key, coded key 70€ per key, coded remote control 120€ roadside rescue price 50€ in Menorca.

ARTICLE 7 – ROAD ASSISTANCE

7.1 The Roadside Assistance Service is included in the rate if the damage is typical of the motorcycle and the collection of the same is 15km around the Barcelona store, 25km in Palma de Mallorca and throughout the island in the case of Menorca. In case the distance is greater, the company will provide the Client with the telephone number of the crane service that must be contracted. The company will not be responsible for the payment of this service that will be borne by the client.

MENORCA / MALLORCA: Covers all kinds of accident caused by chance, damage to third parties, damage to the vehicle as well as total, partial destruction, loss of the same and / or theft WITHOUT excess. 

Both in Barcelona and in Menorca / Mallorca the following will be covered:
– Damage to third parties
– Tire punctures (in no case tire breakage)
– Breakage of the keys (only covers one breakage. In no case will their loss or forgetfulness, such as for example under the seat)
– Replacement vehicle in case of accident and breakdown (Mallorca / Barcelona: within a radius of 15km around where the Ride ON office is located . Menorca: the whole island)
– The destruction partial or total of the vehicle.
– Breakage of vehicle accessories such as helmets, trunk and padlock. (In case of breakage of accessories such as helmet, padlock or keys, only the first break would be covered, never the second break, having to be paid by the Client)
– Accidents caused by the effects of alcohol and / or drugs will not be covered.

• • PREMIUM COVERAGE The K&G Premium Coverage, in addition to including the same service as the Pro Rider Coverage (Premium All Risk), gives you the option of fast pick-up with prepared documentation. It also includes the free refueling error.
  • – This service does not include loss of keys. This service does not include gasoline fuel nor the transfer of the Clients. IN NO CASE DOES THE PRO RIDER RAIN COVER MEDICAL ASSISTANCE FOR PERSONAL DAMAGE, CALL 112!!!! 

8.4. Customers without experience are not entitled to hire extra coverage like RIDER Coverage, PRO RIDER Coverage (All Risk) and Premium K&G (All Premium Risk).

8.5. The Client accepts that he has been duly warned that neither the insurance company, nor the extra coverage of Ride On have medical assistance of any kind, whether in hospitals, clinics and / or any other type of public or private establishment, nor for the Policyholder, nor for the passenger, if any. Neither will they have coverage for sick leave of any kind, as a result of falls, accidents, etc., either because of the driver assigned in the contract or because of a third party or for accidental causes. The company will in no case provide the Client with the information of the insurance company.

ARTICLE 9 – SUITCASE TRANSFER SERVICE

9.1. The service of delivery and collection of suitcases in hotels has a cost that will be specified on the Company’s website. This rate includes delivery to the hotel or address and collection, said cost cannot be divided.

9.2. Being the service contracted through the website and / or in any of our offices, it may be canceled before being enjoyed, the charge not being applied. In the event that the service is canceled having already enjoyed a section or delivery, no money can be returned, since this service is not fractional.

9.3. The delivery and / or collection time will be determined by the Company based on our work forecast. The Client must be attentive to the contact telephone number in case there is any type of problem to speed up the delivery route. If not, the latter will return the suitcases to the ship so that the Client can pick them up during opening hours or, if the Client requests it, they will be included in the following route at an additional cost.

9.4. The suitcases will be delivered to the reception of your hotel, in case of private accommodation or that do not have a reception, it will be the Client who must always be available depending on the schedule that the delivery person agrees.

9.6. It is your obligation to inform the company of the address of your accommodation, you must also inform your accommodation that Ride On will leave the bags at the reception.

ARTICLE 10 – USE OF THE VEHICLE

10.1. The Client agrees to use and drive the vehicle in accordance with the basic rules of driving, circulation and in accordance with the specifications for use of the type of vehicle.

10.2. The Client is strictly prohibited from leaving Spanish territory with the motorcycle rented from Ride On .

10.3. The Client has prohibited circulating outside the urban area of Barcelona/Valencia with 49cc motorcycles, as well as it is prohibited the circulation on the motorway and / or motorways.
For the rest of cylinders (125cc, 200cc, 300 cc, 350cc, 400cc and 700cc) it is possible to circulate outside the city of Barcelona / Valencia or on the motorway / highway within a radius of 15km. and it is prohibited to leave Spanish territory in the case of offices in the Peninsula. In the case of offices in Menorca and Mallorca, it is prohibited to leave the island where you rented the vehicle, regardless of the cylinder capacity, unless authorized in writing by the company.

10.4. The Client is not authorized to carry passengers. In the event that the Policyholder carries a passenger, he will do so at his own risk.

10.5. Only the person or persons identified and accepted by Ride On in the rental agreement are authorized to drive the vehicle , provided they are over 21 or 25 years old depending on the model rented and are holders and possess a valid and valid driving license .

10.6. The Client agrees to keep the vehicle, use the padlock provided and park it in a safe and properly parked place when it is not used, and not to keep the documents inside it and thus avoid major damage in the event of theft.

10.7. It is forbidden for the Client to assign, rent, mortgage, pledge, sell or in any way give the vehicle a guarantee. You are prohibited from changing any technical characteristics of the vehicle or making any kind of modification of its exterior and / or interior appearance (except with the written authorization of Ride On ).

10.8. The transport of the vehicle on board any type of boat, truck or means of transport is not allowed (unless expressly authorized in writing by the Lessor).

10.9. If it is the case that the Customer withdraws the vehicle, the charge for picking it up at the municipal deposit will be € 50.

10.10. No amount is refundable in case of return of the vehicle prior to the expiration date of the contract.

ARTICLE 11 – EXTENSION AND CANCELLATION OF THE CONTRACT

11.1. In case the Client wants to extend the contract, he must notify Ride On . Said extension will be subject to the availability of vehicles and availability of the Company, upon payment and renewal of the contract. For said expansion and / or renewal, you must go to one of our offices. No extensions and / or renewals are made in any other way than personally. The holder of the contract must do the management in our office.

11.2 All cancellations must be made in writing to the
following email address cancelaciones@rideon.es indicating the reservation number in the subject line. In Non-Refundable Rates such as the basic rate, no refund will be made, except for rates with K&G premium coverage and Pro Rider coverage, it can be cancelled without charge and receive a full refund of he amount of the same, up to 24 hours before the rental begins.

ARTICLE 12 – DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY

12.1. Empresarg SL is not responsible for delays or blockages in the Internet network caused by deficiencies or overloads as well as any other electronic system.

12.2. The impossibility of giving the Service or allowing access for any reason.

12.3. In the event that the user wishes to submit a claim to www.rideon.es, he may send a letter to our headquarters at Calle Gustavo Mas, 21. CP 07760 Ciudadela de Menorca, Balearic Islands, Spain.

ARTICLE 13 – APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
